The Science Group was formed in March 2019 and meets on the third Wednesday afternoon of each month except August. Usually there is an invited speaker or a member of the group may do a presentation. We have covered a wide range of topics including climate change, ageing and mobility, forensic science, an everyday application of relativity and for the autumn 2026 our topics will be "Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Scanning", "Crypto Currency for seniors", "Colour in our lives" plus more already booked for 2027.
